How did Spirit Medicine start?
How did it start, where did it come from, what was the imaginative spark that pulled it together... and moreover; where's it going?
Like many stories, the beginning gets lost.
The various occurrences that lead to a moment after a while seem to overlap and become coincidences and happenstance.
But several mantras and thoughts have always rung true in everything I do here;
Hypnotherapy is as big as your imagination.
Hypnotherapy is a psychedelic.
Hypnotherapy enables us to access the deeper parts of our subconscious mind and bring more of ourselves back to life, in this life.
And with hypnotherapy, we can create stories and mindscapes where people can explore themselves, can unearth rich new treasures inside their subconscious mind.
Can bear witness to new possible futures.
Can engage every part of their physical, mental and emotional selves in their deeper processes.
Enabling all of their imagination to come online.
And every experience I’ve had and seen where I’ve experienced healing or profound insight, where appropriate, I have crafted into experiences to help others on their journeys, in their own way.
By weaving the story and threading in the metaphor and accentuating them with hypnotic suggestion while the mind in malleable, painting pictures with the experiences.
We can bring them to life inside someone else’s psyche. Both in the mind as well connect it to a visceral experience inside their body, a sensation, a vibration, a smell, a whatever… and as you do, you can activate long-lasting, positive change in their lives.
This is the power of hypnosis, the power of storytelling to the deep collective consciousness.
This is, to me, Medicine for the Spirit…
Born from experience...
Spirit Medicine has been born out of my personal experiences;
With psychedelics.
With receiving QHHT.
With understanding my own traumas along the way.
But all of these doors were opened by learning, practising and experiencing FreeMind RCT.
With each new experience along the way I’ve been inspired to create a new experience for others, and by using FreeMind RCT approaches and hypnotic suggestion enabling the listeners to have their version of what I had to enable their healing.
Whatever that looks like or feels like to them.
And that’s the beauty of the subconscious mind. I can lead a journey for 10, 20 or even 80 people and I’ll hear 80 different experiences.
Different areas of significance, of release, of revelation.
No matter the story, the journey. Your wonderful subconscious mind knows what it needs for your wellbeing and when given the space it’ll do the heavy lifting and solve the puzzle and release the stress along the way so that life just gets easier.
Spirit Medicine has been born from all of these creative, healing, psychedelic, astrological, and spiritual experiences in order to help others do their deep, inner work.

'Spirit Medicine' time line - July 2020 to Dec 2023
· July 2020 – First Ayahuasca & Bufo Journeys.
· Nov 2020 – Trained as a FreeMind Rapid Change Hypnotherapist.
· December 2020 – start working as a FreeMind Rapid Change Hypnotherapist.
· January 2021 – Co-facilitating with a Bufo medicine group.
· February 2021 – Co-facilitating Ayahuasca Ceremony, opened the second night with a guided hypnotherapy journey.
· September 2021 – Opened the doors to ‘The Deepener’. The first iteration of the Membership Group.
· February 2021 – Started hosting New Moon journeys, using FreeMind hypnotherapy techniques.
· January 2023 – Whilst learning the sacred chants of the Huni Kuin I started to question how can we use hypnotherapy to create Ayahuasca-like experiences, without the Ayahuasca?
And so I started writing the first 4 Spirit Medicine Meditations; Jaguar, Hummingbird, Eagle and Boa.
· February 2023 – Realise I have enough, for a book.
· March 2023 – Realised I have more than 1 book.
· March 2023 – Group April 2023 – Rebrand everything to ‘Spirit Medicine’.
· March 2023 – Publish Vol 1 of the Spirit Medicine Journeys ‘Jungle & Air’.
· April 2023 – Publish Vol 2 of the Spirit Medicine Journeys ‘Desert & Forest’.
· April 2023 – Publish Vol 3 of the Spirit Medicine Journeys 'Ocean & Grassland'.
· May 2023 – First THB Cacao and hypnotherapy journey.
· June 2023 – Publish Vol 4 of the Spirit Medicine Journeys 'River & Mountain'.
· August 2023 – Publish Vol 5 of the Spirit Medicine Journeys 'Arctic & Fire'.
· September 2023 – Corporate wellbeing day, Group hypnotherapy, cacao and house music on silent disco for 80 people.
· September 2023 – Love Jam Festival, Live Journey.
· Dec 2023 – ‘Spirit Medicine’.
o Online Membership.
o 5 books published.
o No.6 being proofread – ‘First 8 Chakras’.
o Meditations ready for books 7 and 8.
o Oracle Deck ready to publish.
What’s next?
The truth is I want to grow this space. There are lots of people doing the work and many successful spaces where people believe they’re doing the work, but are really only scratching the surface.
I know, from the reactions I witness and the experiences I hear that this space these journeys, every new and full moon create transformation. Radical, deep, healing transformation.
I truly want more people to experience that, to know themselves deeply, to do their healing in whatever way best suits them and all they have to do is close their eyes, be carried by the words, by the music and let whatever needs to be held, be gently held and gently lifted and released.
Many of the people that come here, already know what they need to do, but rarely take the time for themselves to do it.
And twice a month, you get the accountability to be held.
Nothing to do, no-thing to achieve, just a moment to pause all over again.
To recharge, restore and remember why you came here, to this lifetime and what it is you’re here to bring.
So, the plan...
Publish the first 8 books of Journeys, by April 2024.
Kickstarter the Oracle deck in 2024 and get that published as well.
Welcome more than 100 people in the membership, grow this group and transform it even further into a beautiful self-supporting, community of like-minded souls doing the deeper work.
That’s the plan, carry on working on Deck Number 2, which is already on the way…
‘Spirit Medicine – Galactic Star Seed Deck’… well with the amount of astrological stuff we share in this space, makes sense to go cosmological. As well as publish the journeys to go with this through the year.
